Its Sienna on the John Lewis website! I thought now that I know the sex i may find shopping a little bit more exciting so I had a quick sneak peek online and who do i see? the little beaut Sienna. Sienna is daughter to not only one of my best friend but also my sister in law!
Sienna use to often get lots of compliments every where we would go like "you should be a model" so the bossy boots that I am, I was on Miss C's case to send of some photos. In the end I took over and done lots of research in to different agencies. We took some photos and off they went! She quickly got snapped up by one of the UKs leading children's agency.
There are so many websites that act as "agencies". Many will sign up anyone and everyone who will apply and will have a ridiculous joining fee. If you were to ask everyone who had signed up to theses "agencies" how much work they have received, I'm sure the majority would say none. They just want to take your money. Its sad but there are many fraudsters out there. A real agency will ask you to come in for a test shoot and only then IF accepted, you may have to pay a small fee of something like £60 for admin fees but never anything in the hundreds.
Sienna's agency has brought her lots of work including Disney, Westfields, Marks & Spencers and many more, which she has thoroughly enjoyed. She is a diva at heart.
After many sessions I often get asked if their child could be a model? I think most children can be models but its just down to what look the agencies are missing from their books. Some times I would have young children who have screamed, cried and tried running out of the room and parents have still asked me the same question. Really? What do you think? My opinion is you can only apply but only if your child enjoys being fussed over as there will be lots of handling and outfit changes, its a long day.
