Park Life

Sunny Sunday, more days like this please! I cant wait for summer so I can throw on my maxi dresses. So after a lovely night at my best friend Miss J's hen do, I woke up another bestie Miss B to accompany me on a hospital tour of the maternity ward. I weren't going to bother going along as I thought surely you don't care what room you are in when you are pushing a baby out between your lady bits! Turned out it was nice to see and have an idea of where I will be heading when those contractions start. I really like the idea of a water birth. I was so surprised and happy to hear they have two birthing pools and 1 of the 2 is rarely in use as not many people are low risk or they want an epidural. Whilst walking around we could hear one woman clearly having a contraction and all of a sudden one born every minute became real. Today it hit home that there is only one way this baby can come out and it all became more real and scary. I like to think I am good with pain, its just the not being in control and not know exactly how it all might go freaks me out the most. Now to decide whether its worth going along to the free hypno birthing or parent craft classes that are offered at the hospital? :/

25 Weeks

After the tour Miss B and I headed of to the super market and then headed home for a bacon sarnie with scrambled egg, followed by Dr Oken's Strawberry yogurt and then I cooked another another half sarnie. Hey don't judge, I'm eating for two! I know its just a saying but I am actually soooo hungry all the time!

Miss B and her fire stick

After a quick power nap we then went down to the park at the back of Miss B's house because she wanted to play with her fire stick! Yes, fire stick! She loves to fire dance. It was such a lovely day and made a nice change to be chilling outside.

Natural boob job

"You are Blooming beautifully" the nice way of saying "Jeeeze you got FAT girl!"

Week 24 and 'B' has just decided to show! So I don't think half the people I have meet recently would have realised I am pregnant, nearly 6 months and not much of a bump at all until yesterday... Hello.

Everyone said one day you will notice your belly will just all of a sudden pop out and they weren't wrong! I have heard most first time mums don't really show until they are 5-6 months so I wasn't to upset, however I was starting to think it was just a food baby! I would be huge in the evenings after eating and then by the morning it would be gone again #confusedface. Up until now Ive been all arse and hips, my weight hasn't varied much over the years but if I were to put on a few pounds it would hit there and my face first. So thats where it has all been going apart from my face. Where are the big boobies I was told about? The natural boob enhancement was the only real reason I signed up for this.

Camera angles...Surely its not really that big?

Waiting for the fat face to catch up. No this is not my constipated.com face

Fed up with my wardrobe now and not even the hairband trick is working for me, I have officially out grown all my jeans and living in leggings, which make me sad. Do I really need to buy maternity clothes? Another young yummy mummy in the studio this week mentioned Topshop maternity jeans and she said they are super comfy, so I will be checking them out asap. I think I need to get a few maternity staples pieces in my wardrobe to see me through the next few months. So I will be calling on yummy mummy stylist Aisha at Life Style Doctor  www.lifestyledr.co.uk
